Rollrite professional roller garage door installation in Suffolk

Roller Garage Doors in Suffolk

Rollrite supply and install made-to-measure insulated electric roller garage doors across south and west Suffolk. Our base in Sible Hedingham sits right on the Essex and Suffolk border, so Sudbury, Haverhill and the villages between are among the closest places we serve, with coverage reaching across to Ipswich. Every installation includes a free on-site survey, professional fitting by our own team, remote controls and safety features.

Electric Roller Garage Doors for Suffolk Homes

Roller garage doors suit Suffolk properties where driveway space is short or the ceiling inside the garage needs to stay clear. The curtain rolls vertically into a compact top box above the opening, so the door never swings out over the drive and the full width and height of the opening stays usable.

Every Rollrite door is made to measure using foam-filled aluminium slats with an insulated core. That matters in older Suffolk properties, where garage openings are rarely a standard size and off-the-shelf doors leave gaps. The electric motor, two remote controls, safety edge, automatic locking and manual override are all included as standard, and you can read about the full fitting process on our roller garage door installation page.

We offer two slat profiles to suit different garages. The 55mm profile is designed for standard single openings up to 2.6 metres wide, while the 77mm profile handles wider or more exposed openings up to 5 metres. Both run from a standard 13-amp socket inside the garage, with a manual override for power cuts.

55mm Roller Doors

Compact Insulated Doors for Single Garages

The 55mm slat profile is designed for standard single garage openings up to 2.6 metres wide. High-density 12.5mm foam-filled aluminium slats give a strong balance of insulation, durability and smooth, quiet operation.

  • Foam-filled aluminium slats for thermal insulation
  • Electric motor with 2 remote controls included
  • Safety edge and automatic locking
  • Wide colour range including white, black, grey and woodgrain finishes

77mm Roller Doors

Heavy-Duty Doors for Wider Openings

The 77mm slat profile uses thicker 18mm insulated aluminium slats, suitable for wider or more exposed garage openings up to 5 metres. The heavier construction gives better wind resistance, which is worth considering for rural and open-country plots across Suffolk, as well as double garages and larger single openings.

  • Thicker insulated aluminium slats for strength
  • Electric motor with 2 remote controls included
  • Enhanced wind resistance for exposed locations
  • Suitable for double garages up to 5 metres wide

About Our Suffolk Coverage

Suffolk sits directly north of Essex, with the River Stour forming much of the boundary between the two counties. Rollrite are garage door installers based in Sible Hedingham, only a few miles from that border, which puts south and west Suffolk well within our everyday working area. Sudbury is around 15 minutes from our base, Haverhill around 20 minutes, and Ipswich, the county town, around 45 minutes away.

The stretch of the Stour Valley between our base and Sudbury takes in some of Suffolk's best known villages. Long Melford with its notably long high street, Lavenham with its timber-framed medieval buildings, and Clare, Cavendish and Bures along the valley are all places we carry out surveys and installations, not just the larger towns. Many of these are former wool towns with older properties and non-standard garage openings, which is exactly where a made-to-measure door earns its keep.

Housing in this part of Suffolk ranges from period cottages in the villages to Victorian terraces in Ipswich and modern developments around Haverhill. We serve all of it alongside the rest of the areas we cover across Essex and Hertfordshire, with the same team handling the survey, the installation and the aftercare.

Which Suffolk towns do Rollrite cover?
